Hachette Australia and MUP announce that Hachette Australia has acquired the rights to the 'On Series'
Fiona Hazard, Group Publishing Director of Hachette Australia is delighted to announce that, effective 2nd January 2020, Hachette Australia has acquired the rights to Melbourne University Press’ popular ON SERIES.
The list of over thirty titles includes bestsellers such as On Father by John Birmingham, On Lust & Longing by Blanche d’Alpuget, On Mother by Sarah Ferguson, On Quiet by Nikki Gemmell, On Identity by Stan Grant, On Doubt by Leigh Sales and On Violence by Natasha Stott Despoja.
Louise Adler, Publisher-at-Large, will have a focus on acquiring for the series, together with all Hachette publishers.

TRADE DETAILS
Orders
ADS will start full distribution for the ON SERIES front and backlist from Wednesday 1st January 2020. Hachette Account Managers will begin subscribing new release titles in January 2020. MUP will continue to sell 2019 new release titles until the end of the year.
Dues
All titles in stock will be supplied by UBD (on behalf of MUP) until 31st December 2019, and all outstanding dues at COB on this date will be transferred from UBD (on behalf of MUP) to ADS.
Credit Control
Customers should make payments for accounts due to the originating distributor.
Returns
The cut-off date for the physical return of stock to UBD is 27th December 2019. ADS will be unable to approve or accept any returns for stock not supplied by ADS. Please address any sales or distribution queries to
