Event: The Rise of the Matildas (NSW)

Three Sparrows Books are partnering with Mosman Football Club and Optus Sport to host Fiona Crawford who will be talking to Michelle Escobar, anchor at Optus Sport, about her second book, The Rise of the Matildas. In the book Fiona draws on interviews with players, administrators, sponsors and fans ranging from Mackenzie Arnold, Bruce McAvaney to Annabel Crabb, skilfully unpicking questions of gender, human rights, race and women's sports.

The Rise of the Matildas highlights the astonishing impact of one team's determination to leave the game in a better place.

This is an amazing opportunity for all football fans to hear about THAT 2023 semi-final and the wider story of the women's game.
