From the Edge, Sex Crimes in the Fifties shortlisted for NSW Premier's History Awards

MUP would like to congratulate three of our authors, whose books have been shortlisted in the NSW Premier's History Awards 2017.
Mark McKenna's From the Edge is shortlisted for the Australian History Prize. The judges described it as 'evocatively written', 'innovative' and 'a major contribution to the development of a more widely informed Australian historical consciousness'.
Sex Crimes in the Fifties, by Lisa Featherstone and Amanda Kaladelfos, has been shortlisted for the NSW Community and Regional History Prize. It was found to be 'powerful', 'moving', 'meticulous' and 'a profound analysis of moral conservatism'.
